Elegant Gents are proud to educate our customers on the subject of fragrance types and their characteristic. As a general rule of thumb we often refer to 4 type of fragrance in Eau De Cologne, Eau De Toilette, Eau De Parfum and Perfume. We shall elaborate on each type within their respective sections however the general difference between the 4 is their concentration. In the aforementioned type the concentrations go from lowest to highest respectively. However one must note that a fragrance with lower concentration is not necessarily an inferior variant but one that interacts with the skin different to others. 

Eau De Cologne are the least concentrate, around 7%. They are generally referred to as lighter and more subtle and can require one or two top ups throughout the day. Not an issue especially if you fancy a change throughout the day or have a habit of maintaining your daily aroma. Although lighter in concentration, Eau De Cologne are generally less expensive and supplied in larger quantities as a result of their more frequent use.
